Renowned and versatile South African maskandi music artist, Igeza lakwaMgube, who is widely recognized as the lead member of the esteemed 3-man Maskandi music group “Amasap”, has announced the upcoming release of his highly anticipated 2024 solo maskandi project titled “I-Peace of Mind”. The artist shared this exciting news with his fans as a special announcement on his official Facebook page on the 2nd of June, 2024.
Igeza lakwaMgube unveiled comprehensive details about the project on his official Facebook page. He shared a glimpse of the album’s back cover, revealing that it is set to feature fourteen tracks with the crème de la crème artists from the maskandi music industry such as Gatsheni, Ngiga Ndlovu, Umzukulu Kashafuza, Igagu Elisha, Nhlonipho Mgube, Zondi, Mthandeni Sk Manqele, and Mbuso Mpungose. The album is scheduled to be accessible on all his verified streaming platforms, including YouTube, iTunes, Deezer, Apple Music, and more, starting from 00:00 on the 5th of June.
This new project follows his successful collaborative album, “Impisi,” released on November 21, 2023. The album featured 14 tracks, showcasing the best of the maskandi music industry, with contributions from notable artists like Mthandeni SK, Jaiva Zimnike, Limit Nala, King Nuba, Maphungula, and other rising stars. The title track, “Impisi,” received widespread acclaim and has garnered over 81,000 views on YouTube.
In a recent Facebook post, the artist expressed his gratitude to his collaborators, posting the pictures of Mthandeni Sk, Gatsheni, uMzukulu Kashafuza, and others, for their contributions to the project.
