Shwi Mantombazane’s ‘Sengozibonela Phambili’ 2024 Album Release Date Revealed

Renowned South African Maskandi music artist, Shwi Mantombazane, popularly known as just Shwi, is making a triumphant return to the music scene with a brand new maskandi album titled “Sengozibonela Phambili.” This highly anticipated album comes as a surprise to fans and music lovers, as Shwi had not given any hints about working on a new project.

Shwi Mantombazane, whose real name is Mandla Xaba, hails from Msinga, a town in the Umzinyathi District Municipality in KwaZulu-Natal province, South Africa. Growing up in a loving environment, Shwi was surrounded by traditional Zulu music and was nicknamed IKhehla Lenyoni. His passion for music led him to form a popular maskandi music duo, “Shwi Nomtekhala,” with his partner. On June 3rd, 2024, Shwi took to his official social media platforms to announce the release of his second solo maskandi music project, “Sengozibonela Phambili,” on June 14th, 2024. The announcement came as a shock to fans, as there were no prior hints or clues about the project. The album’s front cover art, designed by Gezani Media Production, was unveiled on June 10th, 2024. The title, “Sengozibonela Phambili,” translates to “I’ll See You Ahead” in English.

The album features collaborations with renowned artists Ndoni and Saliwa, who also jointly produced the project.
