Skweletu Set To Release A New 2024 Album
Skweletus’ Bio and Musical Career:Â Omphile Chiliza Masethembe, popularly known by the stage name Skweletu, is a renowned and talented South African Maskandi music artist. He was born in 1983 in Umzimkulu, Eastern Cape, South Africa, and attended Zamokuhle High School in Mathula, South Africa.
Music Career:
Skweletu grew up in a musical family and was exposed to traditional Zulu music from a young age. He began his music career in the early 2000s, performing at local events and gatherings. His unique Maskandi sound, which blends traditional Zulu music with modern influences, gained him popularity. Some of his earliest albums include “Izinto Zami,” “Ayemathathu,” “Ukubonga,” “Inhliziyo Yami (2012),” “Izinto Zami (2015),” and “Ukubonga (2018).”

Skweletu 2024 Album: Skweletu, is currently preparing to release a new Maskandi music project for the year 2024 as its customary and expected of him by fans. Fans highly anticipate the album and he promises to deliver an unforgettable musical experience. The album is titled Ngibulawa Isilwane, Skweletu has shared that it will feature a unique blend of traditional Maskandi music with some contemporary sounds.

The production, distribution, and marketing of the project have been handled by the “Indlamlenze Group and Production” record label, owned by the acclaimed king of Maskandi music, Khuzani Nkosikhona Innocent Mpungose. Khuzani is known for his exceptional music production skills, and his record label has played a significant role in promoting and nurturing new talent in the Maskandi music industry.

Wait for it in all online music stores.” This announcement has generated a lot of excitement among fans, who are eagerly anticipating the release of the album.
Skweletu’s previous album, “NONAKELE,” was released on June 2nd, 2023, and featured 13 songs. One of the tracks, “Ngiyazondlela,” featured Khuzani and Sne Ntuli and has received over 1.1 million views on YouTube, making it the most-viewed song on the album.
